How To Install SimpleScreenRecorder Using PPA On Ubuntu 16.10
SimpleScreenRecorder is a feature-rich screen recorder that supports X11 and OpenGL. It has a Qt-based graphical user interface. It can record the entire screen or part of it, or record OpenGL applications directly. The recording can be paused and resumed at any time. Many different file formats and codecs are supported. You can install SimpleScreenRecorder using the Maarten Baert PPA. To add the PPA and install SimpleScreenRecorder open a terminal window (press CTRL+ALT+T) and copy+paste the following lines:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:maarten-baert/simplescreenrecorder
sudo apt update && sudo apt install simplescreenrecorder
When the installation is finished you can close the terminal window and to start SimpleScreenRecorder press the SuperKey (the key with the windows logo) and type: simplescreenrecorder
