Install Liferea On Ubuntu 10.10 “Maverick Meerkat”

Liferea (Linux Feed Reader) is an aggregator for online news feeds. There are many other news readers available, but these others are not available for Linux or require many extra libraries to be installed. Liferea tries to fill this gap by creating a fast, easy to use, easy to install news aggregator for Gtk/Gnome. Liferea Homepage.

Liferea can be installed from your Ubuntu Software Center. To install Liferea open your Ubuntu Software Center (Applications -> Ubuntu Software Center) and search for liferea. Click on the Install button fill in your password and wait while Liferea is being installed. When installed close your Ubuntu Software Center and you can find Liferea under Applications -> Internet -> Liferea Feed Reader.
