How To Upgrade To Kernel 3.2 Using PPA On Ubuntu 11.10

Here is a guide to upgrade your kernel to version 3.2 using the Francis Brown PPA for kernels on Ubuntu 11.10.



To add the PPA and to upgrade the kernel to version 3.2 open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the following lines:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:francisbrwn9/kernels
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

When the upgrade is finished close your terminal window and reboot your system.
